My name is Sigurd and I’m a Norwegian AI engineer. I currently live in Oslo, Norway where I work as a systems consultant for Knowit. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Science from the University of Bergen and a master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence from University of Technology Sydney (UTS).

I grew up 78° north in Longyearbyen, Svalbard, a Norwegian archipelago close to the north pole where my father worked as a coal miner. Learn more about my story here.

I have experience working as Project Manager for Startuplab, Norway’s largest and best tech incubator and investor. I also have experience working as an AI Research Engineer in Sydney. I’m comfortable both in Python and Java and I have a strong interest in both sustainability and innovation.
